Setting up at full sleeping length

The Rack extends up to 17.5 inches from each end. For a 72-inch sleep setup with no tie-downs: extend the rear (head) side fully to 17.5 inches and the entry side — where you sit and climb in — to 10.5 inches. Keeping the shorter extension at your entry point keeps the platform planted as you get in and out.

Extending beyond 72 inches? Strap both ends to your truck bed or cargo tie-down points first. It takes about a minute, and it is not optional — an unanchored rack extended past 72 inches can tip under weight at the ends.

Returns and warranty

Choose your deck

  • Carpeted — Recommended

    12 oz needle-punch carpet on every board. Grip for your mattress, warmth underneath, and a factory finish inside your vehicle. If you're sleeping on it, you won't regret it.

  • Pine Board

    Raw, solid pine. Leave it bare, or stain and poly it your way. Simple, versatile, and it works phenomenally either way.

44 to 79 inches

Extends from both ends — run it widthwise across a truck bed, or full-length for sleeping. The most adjustable platform on the market.

Nine boards, zero rules

Every board is individual. Position them flush, overhanging, or spaced apart — the deck contours to your vehicle, not the other way around.

Gear goes underneath

Don't cuddle your gear on the ground! Our platforms have ample storage room so you can sleep on top and store plenty of gear underneath!

This is not a flimsy camp accessory. The Nokhu Rack is a robust, American-made platform — 16-gauge US steel and solid pine, rated to hold 600 lbs. It's built to be slept on, stood on, loaded down, and trusted for years. The weight in the box is the proof: real steel and real wood don't apologize for it.

FAQ

Will it fit my vehicle?

The Nokhu 25 fits nearly every midsize SUV, crossover, hatchback, and midsize truck. The Nokhu 30 is built for large SUVs and full-size or midsize trucks. At its 44-inch collapsed length, either rack also works widthwise across most truck beds and cargo areas.

Do I need tools or vehicle modifications?

No drilling and no permanent modifications. One-time assembly takes a couple of minutes with the included wrench. After that, there's no setup or breakdown — leave the legs installed and it's ready whenever you are.

Can I extend it past 72 inches?

Yes — strap both ends to your truck bed or cargo tie-down points first. For setups without tie-downs, keep it at 72 inches: extend the rear side fully to 17.5 inches and the entry side to 10.5 inches.

Carpeted or pine — which should I pick?

Carpeted is our recommendation, especially for sleeping inside a vehicle: the 12 oz needle-punch carpet adds grip for your mattress, feels warmer, and finishes like a factory interior. Pine keeps it simple — bare boards you can leave as-is or stain and poly your own way.
